Tarra Baker is by far one of the most competent and bright clinicians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Tarra is who I, as a psych NP of 16 years, turn to when I need consultation on difficult cases. There is not a brighter or more compassionate psych NP I have known.
Tarra is the best provider I have ever worked with. Ignore the reviews that say she lacks empathy because it's the exact opposite, but it's rare to find that with doctors where the focus is medication management. Tarra is able to find the balance between having a brilliant scientific mind, but still have the important empathy piece. She also makes it a therapeutic process, provides scientific research, and doesn't expect her patients to take something they aren't comfortable with.
