I have 3 kids that have been enrolled in lessons at Axis Music Academy in Southfield for the past year, they absolutely love it. The opportunities that Axis provides for their students to perform are great to, we are looking forward to having our kids performing out and about this summer. It s also great that they offer group classes as well, my daughter loves the vocal performance class!

I love taking lessons at Axis, the suite is always very clean, and my teacher is the friendliest person I know. The staff is always super nice, and they try to accommodate me as best they can when I have to change a lesson due to a work commitment. The teachers here know their stuff, when I originally inquired about lessons, they told me that all of their staff have to pass a music theory test before they can teach. Seriously best place Ive ever gotten lessons, hands down. Go check out the southfield office, it s so relaxed and the staff is so nice! I got my first lessons on a special, and my friend is going to be in an event on the 28th! SO much opportunity here!

They don t even deserve the one star. This place is terrible. I took a few lessons here as a gift and they kept pressuring me to buy a bunch of lessons while i was there. they are over priced at sixty an hour (I get ny at home lessons for 30, cleaner instructor too) and once they get your phone number, they just keep calling you over and over trying to get you to sign up for more. I told them I m not interested, I asked them not to call again. They keep calling. Every month I get them calling me, ALWAYS with the SAME OFFER t... read more

Axis Music Rocks! I learned so much and Im going to keep rocking out! Learning to play and then playing in a band with others has been awesome and I plan on doing it for as long as I can. Axis is the best place to get started and continue playing music!
This place is great...I attended an event they had at the Hard Rock Cafe Downtown for ovarian cancer. I was very impressed with their instructor performances and involvement in the community, so I signed up for classes! I played piano when i was young and was apprehensive to start back. My first class the academy had a welcoming, family-like atmosphere and my teacher was very personable. How are things going? Well, next time itll be me onstage at Hard Rock! :)
