I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Axis Hope. The information on their website is very misleading. It gives the impression that they provide comprehensive mental health treatment, including treatment plans and care beyond medication. It wasn't until the very end of my one-hour initial assessment that the doctor informed me that she does not provide any type of counseling or therapy; only medication management. Dr. Hooper has been amazing with my personal family members, as well as a trusted colleague for my patients. She is thorough, intentional, well educated and knowledgeable in the field of both pediatric and adult psychology. She is an excellent psychopharmacologist who takes time to listen to her patients needs and prescribes accurate prescriptions. Highly recommend!
Dr. Ganelle Hooper has been great to work with. We are so glad we were referred to her. She is professional, very intelligent, kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Axis Hope and Dr. Hooper to anyone who is looking for a great support and helpful and kind approach. Our 15 year old teenager loves her and has been open to talking with her and getting her recommendations and advice.
I have been overwhelmingly happy with Dr Hooper and the team at Axis Hope since I started treatment here about a year ago. Dr Hooper is kind, compassionate, detail-oriented, and easy to talk to. I have also seen her colleague who was lovely and just as thorough. They answer your questions in a way that makes sense to the layperson and after seeing a few psychiatrists who were just cold, or did not seem to care / understand me, I finally feel I am in good hands.
Dr Hooper has gone above and beyond in helping my son as well as myself. I was referred to Dr. Hooper by a dear friend who I truly respect. I am so glad that I listen to her. Dr Hooper has a very calm and soothing demeanor which worked great with my son. She Quietly listened as he explained who he was and what had been going on in his life.
