Dr Amsterdam is a true Animal Care Giver..very passionate ..with all the animals that comes in. Gives 100% of his attention to their needs. My Crimson loves him.
If you are a client of Dr. Amsterdam, he is ALWAYS there when you need him. He is an EXCELLENT surgeon for all types of emergencies and non emergencies. He has been there to help rescue some of my rescues. We love him and his staff. They even try to help the family of their deceased clients find homes for the deceased's pets.
My puppy Bella got really sick Monday night, I literally thought she was dying... I took her to AVS on Tuesday morning in which I was given a 11:30 appointment... The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, Dr. Amsterdam greeted us and allowed me to go back with him. They treated Bella with tender loving care and he was able to diagnose her and treat her while we were there.... He also gave her the rest of her immunizations and medicine to take home. Love this place. My Weimaraner put himself through a glass door. I called at 5:45 pm, we live in Warner Robins. Dr Amsterdam waited till we got there. Frank (our dog) was in surgery till 11:30 that night. They care for all my animals. Wonderful Staff, Great Doctor.
Dr. Amsterdam is sooooooo amazing and he has went above and beyond for my baby!!! Couldn't ask for a better soul to care for my sweet girl!!! I'm SOOOO THANKFUL FOR HIS COMPASSION AND LOVE FOR ALL LIFE
My daughter and I took her eight week old puppy in at 11:00 P.M. tonight after we found her hanging from her lease. Dr. Amsterdam let us come in right away and checked Paisley thoroughly. There was nothing wrong with her but bloody toes where she had scratched the brick porch. Thank goodness for Dr. Amsterdam and his caring staff. He saved us a lot of worry and heartache, and I would recommend him to anyone. This was not the first time he has helped one of my dogs and he has always seemed very caring. Thank you again, AVS.

Last year on July 4th this vet saved my dog from parvo! All my life i have never had a dog contract parvo. I called the emergency number and he met me at the clinic. He saved her life and was really good to her. I am very pleased with the service.
