Doctor Amsterdam is the most knowledgeable and compassionate vet in Macon. He is so good with my dog and cat — he cares for them as if they were his own. His rates are reasonable and I am so blessed that he cares for my pets!!

More than each relaying their knowledge and expertise they were personable, and easy to talk to. They don't pressure you into extra services and are very reasonable in their services.
Doctor is great. Staff is great! Made an appointment and was in and out. No waiting. Office very clean. Doctor took care of my granddaughters puppy when he was sick and got him back to feeling better. Just a great place to bring your animals!
We took our Dymand in to have her spayed and noticed her eye was looking bad. Asked them to check it and was told she may lose her eye, Dr. Amsterdam is awesome! My girl came home 2 days later and had both eyes, here it is a week after and she is seeing so much better and seems to not be in pain anymore. Can't say the same about the cone though, she still hates it lol. You guys are truly heros to my girl and Dymand loves you all.
I was fortunate to find Dr. Amsterdam many years ago and I knew the first time I met him that he was the best. It’s very obvious he loves animals and will do whatever is necessary to take care of his patient and the patient’s owner. I’ve seen his compassion in a sad situation and his joy when all is well. He is always there when needed and takes the time to cover everything and explain it all to you.
