We have had to use Avon Veterinary Emergency for both of our dogs on more than one occasion. We could not be happier with the care and compassion by both Dr. Gay and Dr. Pavelich (sp). They treated our dogs as they were there own and explained all the options we had. You feel safe leaving your dog in their care. Also, the communication they have with you is great, you can call any time to check on your dog and they even allowed me to visit when my dog had to stay for 3 nights. Excellent care and extremely compassionate. Dr. Gay is an outstanding emergency veterinarian. It is truly a Godsend to know that this facility is open after hours, weekends, and holidays when your primary veterinarian's office is closed. Thank you so much Dr. Gay and staff!
I went there late Saturday night with my daughter because something was wrong with her guinea pig. Dr Pavelich (?) was knowledgeable and very caring. She checked Ace, was honest with his prognosis and the options. Unfortunately, we had to put him down but would definitely go back if the need ever arose again.
