First time using Avon Veterinariary emergency tonight, my husband and I are extremely pleased with the level of care, We never once felt like we were being pressured into unnecessary procedures in our emergency setting. With Covid and having to stay in the parking lot, the whole staff was nothing but amazing from getting us seen quickly, communicating their assessments and plan, and our treatment plan. I would highly recommend!
With this covid 19 it was hard for me to leave my furbaby in their care without ever meeting them but by phone, but I have felt very comfortable with them. They have kept me up to date on Atticus’s progress. He was very sick & they have been wonderful in caring for him. I can call anytime and find out how he is doing. They are so warm, welcoming & informative. They are closing Monday morning at 8 AM for the week, so I have to transfer him to West Hartford for a few more days of 24 hour care.
