Very bad office
If Dr. Avolio wasn't able to help me, he could have just explained it in a professional manner. Instead, he kept insisting repeatedly that I didn't understand him. I was treated as if I were either stupid or a 2 year old child.
HIP replacement Nov 2021 with fantastic results…able to golf again with a full hip turn…super! Highly recommend this Orthopedic surgeon!
Dr. Avolio performed rotator cuff surgery for me in May. Surgery, recovery, and rehab have all gone greater than expected.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Avolio! He’s very gentle and will not rush to operate on you without trying alternative methods to ease your knee pain. He says, “You’ll know when it’s time and you will tell me.” He’s Operated on a number of my friends and I have never heard a bad thing about him. Everyone is completely satisfied with him.
Saw Doctor for right knee problems. He diagnosed the problem, we discussed treatment. Doctor used language which I was able to understand. I did not feel under pressure to make a decision that day, but later a plan was made and today my knee is fine.
I've seen him on a few occasions for different reasons. He doesn't listen! All he wants to do is injections! I will never go back!
I have been a patient of Dr.Avolio for at least 20 years. I have had 2 knee replacements and Dr. Avolio and the surgical facility is the greatest. But I showed up for my 1 year check up on my knee replacement today and was turned down because the office insisted my fully paid up insurance was suspended. They were not very nice to me and made me feel very uncomfortable. Insurance was never suspended and they still insisted it was not their fault. Afraid to make appointment for fear I will waste
Dr. Avolio performed surgery on my ankle in 2012 after I fractured it. He put plates and screws In to fix the bone. He's very nice, informative, and left a clean scar. I had the hardware removed in July 2016 after I bumped it causing infection . He is a great guy, and got me in to take the hardware out the next day. Great staff at the hospital and his waynesburg office.
