I don't know if I have ever had a better doctor appointment than with Dr. Stein. What a great listener and trusted ally for pelvic health. Very gentle exam. Highest recommendation.
I'm a bit surprised to see the comments about Dr. Stein being cold or abrupt. I have seen her several times and have been very impressed by how personable and caring she is. She's also gentle and reassuring. I agree that I've had to wait at times, but in those cases she has explained why. I can't begrudge her spending extra time with a mother in distress. I'd want the same. I will be taking my daughter to her when she's ready.
she helped my doctor with turning my baby and she was very nice and helpful. I had never met her before and she made me feel at ease.
I have had great experiences with Dr. Stein as my gynecologist. She gets to the point, is very sweet and most importantly makes you feel comfortable.
Granted my daughter is now 9. I saw Dr. Stein before I got pregnant and while I was pregnant. First time I saw her,I was having two periods a month she told me she was unsure if I had a cervix, because she couldn't find it, went through an ultra sound to verify that I had one. Went through unnecessary teats with my daughter. 4 years later go to a different ob for my son. Come to find out I have 2 cervix, uterus etc. Thank God my daughter was breached. Otherwise I could have had major damage.
I have been going to Dr. Stein for prenatal care for the last couple of months and she is so awesome. She pays attention to detail, is professional and makes me feel like I am her only patient. She knows I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy and has done everything she can to make me feel comfortable and as secure as possible. I have been with Charlotte OB/GYN for years and she is the best doctor that I have worked with there. I wish I went to her sooner.
Very un-personable and cold demeanor at what would be the start of prenatal care. Not the kind of doctor I want to see on a regular basis for 9 months! Switched to a smaller practice and much happier.
Worst experience. Made us wait for 2 hours, then waltz inside the room without even a slight apology or acknowledgement. She was clueless to the reason I was visiting and I was surprised in the 2 hours she made us wait, she didn't even care to find out. She had all the facts wrong, I had to tell her everything again. She insisted that I take a blood type test, even when I told her I have done the test and the blood type never changes. She was done within 2 minutes and then just walked out.
