When looking for a place we found Avita and fell in love with it for many reasons but one was its full memory care. The specialize in Memory care which is needed so much now for people. The staff is dedicated which shows.
Perhaps I should've written this review long ago, but I was prompted by the negative review I happened to stumble upon on here today. I don't get it. My mother was a 5 year resident of Avita, moving in the first month it opened. I cannot say enough about the helpful, caring staff, the incredible food and the wonderfully creative activities that they line up for the residents. I love all of the activities at Avita of Needham. This really gives the residents something to look forward to. It also keeps everyone abreast of what is going on beyond Avita's community.
I frequently volunteer at Avita and the activities each week are creative, thoughtful, engaging and so much fun! The program directors really take their time to make sure the residents are getting the most out of their experience and the caring help from the staff really has made a difference. My experience volunteering with this facility puts Avita ahead of the other care facilities that I have volunteered with. I highly recommend Avita if you are considering long-term care for a loved one with Dementia or Alzheimer's.
