Customer service doesn’t get much worse than this. The staff behind this Budget / Avis counter are unapologetically upset people. Each of their customers seems to be their burdensome enemies. I’ve been flying into this airport for years and they get angrier and meaner with time. Spend the extra 15% and book with any of the other options.

I reserved a car with a corporate discount. Confirmed reservation cost was $399. I had a flight delay that caused me to arrive after midnight on the day of my reservation when Avis at St. George airport would be closed. I called Avis at the St. George airport to inform them and make sure nothing would change based on picking up the car the next day. I was told everything would be the same. I returned the car on time and was charged $870. I have fought this egregious overcharging with SGU and Avis corporate customer service. ... read more

Shout out to Mariah and Deb at the Budget/ Avis desk. Truly, two of the best in the business. Been renting with them for years. Always kind and have a smile on their faces. In their industry, they exemplify customer service. Give them a high 5 when you see them! They're awesome!!!
