I rented a car through Avis for a month which was fine. I found out I had a leak in the drivers side rear tire which my son-in-law filled for me. Approximately one week later the tire was low again and I didn't want to bother my son in law again so I called Avis which liked me to their roadside service. I reported to them the problem and sometime later someone showed up to fill the tire. I will NEVER book through AVIS again! Beware! The price you are guaranteed online will change once you click reserve. My card was immediately charged $143 MORE, and they wanted to charge $50 to cancel my reservation, and when I called to speak to them they offered $25 off my total. I will gladly pay the $50 to cancel and will NEVER book with them again!!

Avis rented us a Mazda CX-5 from their 8000 W. Broward Blvd Space 1127 Plantation, Florida location October 22, 2021. We arrived right before closing due to working. The Avis employee rushed me through the papers never explaining anything about the rental process. I haven't rented a vehicle in 10 years. The employee never reviewed the Mazda with us physically. They don't tell you what the true cost of items are. I was asked if I wanted tolls to be pre-covered and I thought good idea. But what they don't tell you is it 25 dollars a day for that. It's almost impossible to get 25 dollars of tolls a day. If they ask if you want anything other then the car say no.

Rented a economy compacted car the weekend of Halloween. Paid $400 sow Thing dollars which included my deposit. Return the car JUST AS I GOT IT. They reimburse me my deposit after they receive the car. Everything was great. Almost a month later I get a $450 charge to my card from them. I called and they said it was a cleaning charge to find more details call customer care. RE: Avis Case: ******** I returned my vehicle on Monday October 5, 2021, at approximately 7:15am per the rental agreement. I left the keys in the vehicle per the instructions of the customer service representative that same morning whom I had to call because there were no written after hour returns information on Reservation nor was there any conspicuous signage at the return lot or security. Despite paying top dollar for a rental SUV, I was provided with a lesser vehicle at the Madison, Wisconsin AVIS Rental Counter. The icing on the cake was when I received an email from ***** Fleet Services, that AVIS wanted to collect 'damages' for minor paint scrape-offs on the bottom of the rear painted bumper, that I had not even thought of reporting when I rented the vehicle.
