Less than 24h notice that they “sold out” of cars and that the car reservation I made weeks ago had to be cancelled. Apparently nothing could be done and no compensation could be made for the inconvenience this has caused me and four others with me.
Rented a car for the weekend and everything went smoothly. I’ve used Avis a few times as an international renter and it’s always been easy. Decent cars, nice staff, and no unnecessary hassle.
