Would give zero stars if we could. All flights were delayed and they couldn’t stay an extra 10 minutes to allow the 40+ people waiting for cars to get their pre-paid car. They saw the flight was delayed but no care. All the other car rental places stayed. Customer service hung up on everyone that was calling. Never rent Avis.

Frustrating when you paid for a rental weeks in advance and upon arriving they claim it's not ready nor they have any cars available. Yet they are giving cars to other patrons. They would charge me for being a no show, there should be a credit back to my account when they can't honor their end of agreement and have a car ready when promised. Even more frustrating when people come in after you and they magically have a car for them. So much for being avis preferred. When Silver Airways delayed their flight (avoid them), we realized we’d miss our connecting flight to Seattle from Orlando and be stranded in Florida. We rushed to the Key West airport at 8am to try and rent a car for a seven hour drive to Orlando.The agents at all the other rental car agencies told us they were out of cars. 45 minute wait for a car. Not including the time to wait in line. They over reserve the cars or don’t have enough people cleaning them, idk but prepare to wait for a while in this tiny airport.
