Primera experiencia con AVIS. Mi 6° viaje largo a Estados Unidos y era la compañía que me faltaba por probar. Alquilamos un vehículo full size con cobertura de seguros estándar, kilometraje ilimitado y sin tarifa combustible (recoges lleno y devuelves lleno). Lo devolvimos en tiempo y forma (sucio exteriormente después de dos semanas de viaje, obviamente) pero limpio por dentro. We were visiting during college move-in weekend and Sandra was very helpful when their local Avis was experiencing a mini-van recall and lack of larger SUVs. She was able to find us a large medium-size crossover vehicle and made our reservation accommodate our large group needs. I cannot recommend enough.

These guys were the worst. Rented and pre-paid for a 15-passenger van and showed up to find out they didn't have it. Instead they put my 9-person group into 2 mini vans. They promised corporate would provide a discounted refund and they would waive the need to refill it when we returned it. Total scam. Never entered any of the "promises" into the computer so I'm screwed. Deceptive!! Check your receipts guys - they just want you to move on. Done - Hertz is calling my name. Done with Avis/Budget forever!

Charge a cleaning fee and say I smoked in the car, didn’t do any of that.

Do not use this company for a rental vehicle. They will over charge and add on a bunch of additional fees. I returned the vehicle with more gas than it had when I received it and they charged over $70 for fuel. It is documented on their own receipt that the vehicle was refueled yet they are trying to get me to send proof. They are scammers, beware!
