It is very hard to a qualified and competent therapist thesedays, and even harder to find one that is a good fit. This process can take months to accomplish. I highly recommend the folks at avid counseling. My counselor at Avid has taught me more skills for managing my emotions then all other previous counselors I've had combined. The skills I have learned help me identify triggers and deal with them in a healthy way. I am better now at managing my anxiety than ever before and learning to communicate and manage my anger as well. These folks are amazing.

Charity was thoughtful, personable, and really allowed me to do the work myself. She was always there to guide me (or call me out when necessary) but it was at my pace and always with my well being in mind. A great experience overall and I highly recommend Avid.
