When I first moved in, I immediately noticed that the sliding windows did not lock. It appeared the previous tenant had tried to rig a makeshift lock, but it was so poorly done that it served no purpose at all. To secure the windows, I snapped a metal mop handle in half—wedging one piece into the lower track and the other into the upper track—to keep them from sliding open. Kids beating on my door and running off. Homeless people hanging out with snakes. Someone broke my window. Takes a lot of nerve to live here. Would not live here if I have a choice. The front desk is nice and the personnel pretty good too. This place has its charm with too many strange happenings. Overall bad experience.
