I should’ve wrote this review a long time ago.. My Mom passed away almost 3 years ago from cancer and we used Aviant for her end of life care. They were super helpful with preparing me for what could/would happen when it comes to the end. The nurses were amazing (Donna?) and always available to answer any questions, come check on her, help with medications etc. My Mom held on to this bear for comfort the last few months of her life and it was sweet that they propped him up on her bed after she passed. Horrible - very unprofessional and dishonest - almost no staff. They caused much distress and trauma by their callousness and in the end euthanized (not legal in the US) our loved one! I'm sure they're not the only bad one, but buyer beware!
My step mom was cared for by Aviant. It was Christmas Eve, and we suspected her condition was changing. We called and the nurse was out at her home in time to explain what was happening and be with us through the entire process. To have someone caring and knowledgeable at her bedside was a huge help to all of our emotions. Myself and my family appreciate every nurse and CNA that cared for my step mom, as well as, the chaplain and social worker that offered support.
My wife Pat, the love of my life, passed away recently. Aviant was very helpful to her, but especially nurse Tara. She went above and beyond, and I can't say enough about her great kindness, warmth, and empathy. Aviant is very lucky to have her. Soon, I hope, I will reunite with Pat.
