Dr. Burkett did a TEN HOUR surgery on our goose successfully. He was extremely detailed in discussing our options, and spent hours, literally, answering my questions. Despite my 12 hour travel distance, I wouldn't hesitate to make the trip an infinite number of times for his specialized and expert level avian services. This man is truly one-of-a-kind, and his vet tech Rebecca matches his enthusiasm and skill level. What a gift they are to the avian community!

Dr Greg Burkett consulted over the phone with my Veterinarian Dr Tim Zaharchuk in Ontario, Canada for the treatment of Sassy our Umbrella Cockatoo. His input, recommendations and support were invaluable. The staff are awesome and very helpful. I hope to visit from Canada one day soon.

I took my sick cockatiel who is 18 years old to Greg and she had the worst yeast infection and vitamin A deficiency he's ever seen. After going back every week for several weeks, my Bird is finally getting better. Great staff, Michael the front desk operator is always a pleasure to talk to. Greg and his assistant Rebecca have great personalities which makes my boyfriend and I happy to always come back to see them. They're methods work!

Dr Burkett has dedicated his life to birds and their care and it shows! We have other avian vets closer to us but drive about 50 miles to see him. Everyone there is personable and it's obvious they are all bird people. In addition to his clinical work Dr B answers e-mail questions by provoking his address on The Birdie Boutique website. When we were doing research before we bought our parrot I emailed a question about indoor temperature. Instead of just a short answer to the question he wrote several paragraphs about diet, w... read more
