RecommendedDr. Burkett is the best avian vet ever! I’ve been taking my birds to him for over 30 years. His knowledge and experience are amazing and he loves his patients... and it shows. He called me one Christmas Eve on the way to his family’s holiday to give me an update on my very sick at the time, Patagonian Conure Gypsy, who was in the bird hospital at the time. His compassionate and caring treatment provides excellent care to birds of all kinds. We will never go anywhere else!
You'll be hard-pressed to find another vet who goes to such lengths to help his patients.
Dr. Burkett is knowledgeable and innovative in treating our parrot who loves to ingest shiny metallic items. He offers conservative approaches before more invasive ones, and he is great at communicating his diagnoses and treatment plans with us. We trust him greatly with our beloved pet.
Dr. B and his staff are incredible. Kind hearts and impeccable skill! He has helped me with my rooster and multiple hens all for different reasons. I love the honesty and compassion. Thank you for serving the bird community and being there when I've needed urgent help. Definitely 5 star service. ♡
We have been going to Dr. Burkett since 2006 and do not like going anywhere else. He is professional and knows what he is doing with our birds. He doesn't take our birds into a back room to treat or examine them which makes me feel much better as a parront! We drive 45 mins just to take our birds to the best place!
Dr. Burkett and his staff were wonderful with helping Ringo and helping us to understand how to better provide for our umbrella cockatoo. A++, he spent so much time with us making sure we understood what he needed. He really cares about what he does!
Dr. Burkett and his staff are truly amazing! We have taken 2 of our feathered friends there for care (a Cayuga duck; June and a chick; Nutmeg). He is patient, kind and truly cares about your animals!
