I obtained two nights lodging via a cash donation to a charitable organization to which your Resort had donated to. Upon arrival, the front guest receptionist Patti, who also happens to be one of your supervisor, seemed indifferent to us, never even making eye contact or welcoming us to the resort, handed me keys to our room. The room was located in the worst possible place at the resort, through dusty hallways, construction, and filth. Went here and had a grest time. Hope they send me a comp room for my next visit. Buffet and Cafe had really good food.

It started out great! We were unable to get in our room and the switched us to a great suite. The view overlooked the roof but we were not disappointed because the room was great. And we weren’t staying in the room as this was going to be a very busy weekend. But the entry light to the room didn’t work, the desk lights by the couch didn’t work. One of the lamps didn’t even have a bulb! The shower leaked and the remote for the tv didn’t work. I told the night desk clerk and she said that someone would address it the next day.... read more

The room was so so but very clean so I was thankful for that. I enjoyed all the eateries offered here! The pool was nice but the beach was really dirty & looked like a trap for cutting my feet on glass. Apart from that everything was ok but the front desk. Carla was really rude to me & my fiancé and made us dread even calling the front desk. ALSO she charged my card $100 without telling me it was for the security deposit or that she was going to charge my card at all. This was our first time staying at the Avi and we found it to be an overall good experience! The staff was very courteous and very accomodating from our check in experience to the end of our stay! We had asked for a room close to an elevator since my husband has a hard time walking far, after we checked in we were told it would be about a half hour before we could get a room after a short conversation my husband went back to the desk and told them we would take whatever was ready as we didn't want to wait for a room and they... read more
