I had the pleasure of seeing Tiffany Hogen. She was so friendly and thorough. She made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. She was fantastic and has a wonderful bedside manor.
When experienceing extreme pain, she treats you like a toddler who skinned their knee. Terrible!
I was in a car accident in Oct 2016 and had to have plates and screws put in. Dr. Margaret Carmody did the surgery. Horrible bedside manners and manners in general. At my 4 week check up she didnt even come into the room her assistant did. I asked about PT and was told to follow up with my primary doctor. Clinic staff is excellent. The whole team was friendly and efficient! As for my experience with the medical staff, all I can say is ..WOW!! first there's Tiffany, the nurse who was at my pre-surgery appointments and especially attentive and super quick call-backs post-surgery. I must have talked to her 10 times on the phone and got my scripts to pharmacy directly after the call. Then there's Nellie the NP who is doing my post-surgery followups. The receptionist were great and I got in and out. The problem was with Dr. Wolak himself. As a past employee for Avera, my disappointment was high. Dr.Wolak was more concerned about flirting with his intern than doing his job. His bedside manner was terrible. My father came into the room with me and wouldn't have believed it if he wasn't there!
