Dr.Bergen is absolutely terrible, judgmental, rude has this terrible attitude. He is not someone to work with people with mental health issues. Staff is terrible as well. They judge you because of ur mental issues that you suffer with. A rock is more caring than Dr. Bergen I left his office every time I saw him miserable. But, him being the way he is he’ll just spread untruthful things about you to the next doctor you wanna transfer to. Please take my advice don’t go here.
went to my first appointment and showed up seven minutes early walked in to no front counter help so I wasn’t sure where to go. Ended up being late to my Appointment had to ask from help from a random person walking around and they told me it was my fault I was late and wouldn’t let me reschedule
The doctors are amazing, I have seen a psychologist and a psychiatrist for the last 4 years with Avera, they are empathetic, great listeners, understanding of my conditions and they along with the whole staff makes me feel that they truly care about their patients mental health and well being— thank you to Dr Meredith Powell and Dr Nancy Johnson for helping me through the most darkest days in the last 4 years! I couldn’t have done it without them!!
I’ve had a great experience here, the psychiatrist i see is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
