Because of a medical condition, i have to have an upper GI every six months. I've been there several times. It only took about a month to get in. Check in was fast. Minimal weight time for procedure. Staff was super friendly. I enjoyed my experience.

I scheduled with Avera after having years of chronic abdominal pain and gastrointestinal issues and no luck with other dismissive GI doctors. I wanted to finally get a proper diagnosis, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Adam Smith. He ordered an endoscopy and colonoscopy as the first step. Hesitant about going back after seeing Dr. Feyen due to dismissiveness. Saw DNP Amanda Richter for a follow up visit. She was thorough, knowledgeable and patient - able to answer all my questions above any other practitioner I’ve seen for GI.

I had an appointment with Dr. Bryan Feyen and left feeling deeply frustrated and dismissed. I have a soy allergy, which makes colonoscopy prep incredibly complicated—and after years of digestive issues, I came in hoping for guidance and support. Instead, after explaining my medical history and concerns, Dr. Feyen simply said, “I don’t know what you want me to do. I can’t help with different prep.” My husband and I were stunned. His lack of compassion and curiosity left me in near tears. We walked out and never went back. Tha... read more
