It is very hard to get counselors to actually show up. I was mostly Telehealth meaning most of my appointments were virtual unless the counselor requested an in person. My first counselor I never got to see because, although I THOUGHT I filled out all the appropriate paperwork (gobreeze is very confusing), I was called just a few minutes before my session and was told if I didn't get them filled out they would not be able to see me. I have been seeing my counselor Noha Everett for over 8 years. You don't see someone that long because they aren't good. All the members at Avenues of counseling are very helpful and treat me very well. I recommend them whole heartedly.

Our provider forgot who we were in our second appointment with her and obviously did not look at the referral or her notes before our session. She failed to take responsibility for her actions and instead had a sarcastic comment about how “we are all human” and frantically tried to figure out who we were without taking any time. Joselyn Vazquez did not value our time.
