Excellent service, knowledge wait staff.
This was such a lovely cafe when Cathy owned and ran it - welcoming, original, and serving beautiful simple food made with fresh ingredients. And the Staff...well, they were fabulous. It has lost it's way since being sold and the care has gone out of just about everything from the ingredients used, to the method of cooking, and sadly in the service experience which hovers between indifferent to downright rude. i have had breakfast there, i ordered eggs benedict , it was great! the side order of bacon i ordered was nice and crispy, my iced tea was brewed to the strength i prefer, my only criticism is that the breakfast potatoes sucked they were practically raw and not seasoned they were more like boiled potatoes. i also had dinner there once what i can recollect it was great it was a year or so since i had dinner there.
We both had the trout dish tonight on the patio. It was fantastic!

This place has the best eggs benedict in town, hands down. But even more impressive is their staff. They go beyond friendly and are instead extraordinary.
Wow! A total reinvigoration. The new owners got it right! Fantastic menu. The caviar was delicious. The rabbit? Perfection! I am actually thinking of going back tomorrow because there were so many options I want to try! You must go. It is amazing.
