We did both breakfast and lunch here this weekend! The style of this bistro is so adorable. The food was amazingly fresh and full of flavor. Try the toast, it's quite possibly the best bread I've ever enjoyed!!!
L O V E this place and the folks who make the *magic* with local and farm-fresh food. This is our go-to spot in Salt Lake City. We love you Kathie and the entire Avenues Bistro team!
I am still aglow from the delicious and magical evening I spent with dearest of friends tonight at Avenues Bistro on Third, and still wonderstruck by the extraordinary generosity and thoughtfulness of Cathy Chadborn. I am telling everybody I know about this gem of a place, and can't wait to return again with more people I love!
I lived in SLC for 6 months...THANKFULLY just up the street from this gem! Hands down best 5 meals I had in Salt Lake...I only wish I had gone more. Not only is the food & drink spectacular, but this place has ambience and charm that simply can't be fabricated or decorated. The environment is a testament to the owner, staff & neighborhood. This place is, for me, what the experience of dining out is all about.
Everything is great and even better with a mimosa!
I miss the food, the atmosphere but most of all I miss seeing Kathy's warm welcome and fun conversation. It's a place I will go whenever visiting Salt Lake.
A revelation! Honestly the best food in SLC their bistro burger with home made ketchup is insane. The ole at burger is also incredible. Everything is incredible. Gourmet and local and amazing. The only downside is that it's small and sometimes crowded or there's a bit of a wait to get your food but it's more than worth it.
My favorite of several really excellent places in the Avenues. Food is always terrific. The staff are relaxed and friendly. Miss the patio and hope it will return. But that will be icing on a truly wonderful cake. An integral component of our neighborhood.
