I’m a working parent with a 7 year old going to school. My husband called to ask hours. They said she needed an appointment to pick up her glasses. So we made an appointment. (They have changed their hours since COVID and it is not on the website) he made it at a time she could go and they wouldn’t let her into the store and did not fit her glasses. I love the doctor but I’m not coming back. Now I have to go back with my daughter that goes to school.

Hi, Sarah. I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, we have to follow Colorado Department of Health and the Environment occupancy guidelines for small businesses. On Monday, Jefferson County alert levels were raised to "Safer at Home." I am a patient of Avenue Vision. I can not say enough about the wonderful service I received there. Dr. Joe Borden was excellent he gave me a very thorough eye exam and explained what all they are checking for during my eye exam. His staff was very friendly and very helpful. If I have any questions they are always willing to answer them for me. I am very satisfied with the service I received from Dr. Joe Borden and his staff!! I would highly recommend them for the care of your vision!!
Terrible service! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! These people are the worst eye doctors I have ever even heard off. Had to reschedule an eye exam, wouldn't pick up the phone or cancel online. Then went in for an eye exam, and they charged a ridiculous amount, even with insurance. Then they couldn't order the contacts in the prescription they suggested.
