Stayed at Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa and couldn’t have been happier with the choice. The location is ideal - you’re just minutes from great shopping and a wide range of dining options, so it’s easy to fill an afternoon or grab a nice dinner without going far. I stayed at this hotel for a festival I was attending. I booked a sweet online 3 months ahead in advance and when we arrived and checked in got to our room we were sadly dissatisfied the view was not the best and my room was much smaller than expected. I went up to the front desk and the ladies that were working helped me out greatly I appreciate them so much I was quickly upgraded free of charge to an executive sweet on the 3rd floor. I thank the two ladies for helping me bc it seemed like they had their hands full.
The location is the only thing this place has going for it. If you are coming here for work or anything that requires you to have phone or WiFi service find somewhere else. You will be extremely disappointed. It is a beautiful hotel but nothing other than that is special. The whole reason we even stayed here was for their airport shuttle. Overall, the hotel is nice but there were a few problems: low water pressure in the shower, the toilet does flush properly so that was t fantastic. Beds were clean and comfortable, but the WiFi doesn’t work at all in the room. Valets lost my car keys because they didn’t tags the keys properly so it took them about 25 minutes to retrieve my car.
