THE WORST place in Stillwater 1. Extremely unfriendly manager and front desk workers. I tried to talk with the manager once and he never came out from the room behind the front desk because he does not want to deal with their problem. Also, some of the front desk workers look down on you. 2. Maintenance service is extremely slow. I would give zero stars if I could Every year I've lived here the rent has gone up substantially and the amenities go down. Funny how that works. They can't keep a management staff or owners. This was campus corner, then the grove, then avenue east. And which each new name this place gets worse and worse. It used to be furnished and all bills included, with cable and fast reliable wifi. We are sorry to hear about your experience over the last few years. We do charge a $5 convenience fee for using a credit card online, but connecting your bank account and paying is completely free. Cable is not included in our rental package, however, it is available for purchase after an additional fee is paid. In addition, we recently spent around $30,000 to upgrade our property WiFi and expand our broadband width. Live somewhere else Avenue East has got to be the worst apartment complex in Stillwater. There is no communication in the office and management never has answers. The wifi doesn't work, nothing gets fixed if you report it, and they are currently redoing the roof on FINALS WEEK. I have been woken up everyday by the sound of hammers, etc. Avenue East does not care about their residents and overcharges in just about everything. Do not recommend.
Not nearly as nice as they'll tell you. Everything is pretty okay, but if you were told that your room has wired internet, they may have completely lied to you like they did to me. Buildings 1-7 are the only ones with wired internet. So if you don't get those buildings you'll have to put up with a very spotty and slow wireless connection. Worst Decision I have had a hole in my shower for 6 months and no one even cares. I have reported it to management multiple times and they just do nothing about it. I have talked to corporate too, but no one wants to solve the issue. They don't care about about their tenants or their property. They just want your rent
Avenue East The staff is very friendly and helpful. I live in a townhouse, which is really nice. I have my own bedroom and bathroom. WiFi, cable, and utilities are all included in my rent, which is $485 a month. You can rent a townhouse for $460 a month, but I opted for the prepaid electricity allowance. When I first moved in I was afraid that I would go over on my electricity allowance, but I constantly have a fan running, keep a mini fridge plugged in, and often watch TV and still have yet to go over. Too expensive for what you get. At Avenue East the rent is pretty costly, but what you actually get with your apartment is quite the let down.
