Highly Recommend I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Sandin at Ave 26 Animal Hospital for 17 years. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Sandin's care and concern for my pets. If some think of him as abrupt or rude, that is only because he puts the well being of your pet first and foremost and he he takes your pet's care to heart. Avenue 26 Small Animal Hospital I recommend this facility. I have two small mixed boy puppies (rescued) requiring neutering and micro chips. My regular vet only makes house calls and doesn??t do surgery. Their vaccinations are complete and have had wellness exams. I shopped around and wanted:1) a hospital/vet that was direct, 2) wouldn??t try to ??up sell? me on unnecessary stuff 3) took appointments 4) was reasonably priced and 5) take the City of LA Neuter $30 coupons.Because I grew up on a ranch I also know that neutering... read more
DO NOT GO TO AVENUE 26 SMALL ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!! DO NOT RECCOMMEND AT ALL!!!!! I had been taking my two dogs there for a little over a year. Everytime, I would dread having to go to that clinic. Dr. Sandin always made me feel uncomfortable. He's quite rude, makes me feel like he has no compassion for my dogs. His sarcastic remarks are not appropriate when I'm taking in my dog for something serious. He told me once, "whos here for a nail trim today? you or the dog?"
