My mother was here for a little over 12 hours before she passed but they cared for her and us like we were family all along. They checked on her meticulously, they asked us questions when they felt in doubt, and they have such big hearts that I am astonished they work in a hospice setting with such kind souls. They offered hugs, support, their prayers, and everything in between. My grandma was here and my mom was at the other one Everyone at the Ava's house was so nice and friendly and every time I would call to check on my grandma they always were more than willing to answer any questions or concerns I had especially after my mom passed when I couldn't go see my grandma for a few days.
My sister was at Ava’s this past June 2025. I can’t say enough good things about each one of the staff we came into contact. She was so grateful and thanked each person that was part of her care from the housekeepers to the aids to the nurses, the doctors and the chaplain. Thank you to Dr.Lewis, Bethany, Lindsay, Deb, Myron, Kayla, Sheri (I hope I spelled that right), Chaplain Bill, Julie and Leticia.
