I have gone to Dr. Avants for about 10 years. Dr. Avants has the ability to be a good doctor, but she doesn’t seem to trust patients who do their own research. She quickly dismisses it. And I’m not talking about someone who looked up a few things on Google, I’m talking about someone who has spent years reading books and trying to understand my own health as a woman. First off I want to thank Dr. Avant-, her PA and her office staff for being so professional, nice and caring !! I have been thru a lot in the last few months and just want to say I was in very good hands Dr. Avant- did a wonderful job in getting me my life back !! Highly recommend her !!

Dr Avants used to be a fantastic Dr. I would overlook the utterly incompetetent front desk staff to see her but I think I have finally had enough. Firstly, I had to take my mammogram order to a UPS store to fax it to the provider -the front desk staff couldnt even fax an order over despite asking them multiple times. Now her office is shilling expensive hormone pellets that are not covered by insurance. Furthermore, once you get them inserted - theres no turning back. I have nothing but positive and excellent remarks for Dr. Avants. Her care for me during the birth of my children and 13 yrs later for a hysterectomy has been consistent and of excellent quality. I would recommend her to any of my family or friends, including my own daughter.

Dr. Avants is a very good doctor. Takes her time and is caring and thorough. But her office staff are terrible (at least the ones I have had to deal with). Don't get lab work back to doctor in a timely manner even though the lab has processed the results. Don't contact patients in a timely manner for a follow up visit after lab work is back. TERRIBLE about billing. Bill late and then blamed me for late payment even though I paid the day after I received the bill.

Absolutely amazing physician. I don't think I would have my twins today if it wasn't for her amazing care. Complete 5 stars across the board. She works way to hard for her patients and it paid off with our twins big time. She saw me EVERYDAY for 10 weeks while I was on hospitalized bed rest. She will always be in our thoughts and prays. We LOVE Dr. Avants.
