We got there late N they said they didn't have pasta only pizza cause they were down to 1 cook, my pregnant daughter wanted pasta! Lol the cook said it was slow N he could make her what she wanted. It was delicious!! The garlic rolls are BOMB!!! Definitely recommend Avanti's!!
We come here a lot because they have the best plain cheese super thin crust pizza we have found outside Pisa! If you want it, specify it exactly as stated above. The Eggplant Parmigiana with the Italian sausage is our favorite if we are going to splurge. We went to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful experience.
I went for lunch. It's the bomb. The food was delicious, service wonderful and they had Creme Brule! Yeah. I highly recommend this place. Another plus? They had Italians cooking the Italian food! It wasn't very busy at lunch so it's probably a good spot for lunch. They also have patio seating and a full bar.
What an absolutely pleasant surprise! The food was delicious and very authentic, the dessert fantastic, the service was just wonderful, and they have a full bar! My husband and I both had the chicken piccatta which was divine; the chicken cooked to perfection and tender and juicy. Better than I make! Avanti serves delicious American Italian food: Pizza, pasta, salads, and Italian desserts. The complimentary bread is delicious. The wine list is well ranged. The parking lot is small, but there is plenty of street parking because it's not crammed among other businesses and restaurants. The sound level inside is moderate. The seafood pasta with red sauce and risotto were really good. It tasted like the chefs didn't put much spices but cooked the ingredients just right. I liked how it wasn't salty like other Italian restaurants. They were fresh and delicious. The interior was very modern and pretty and I assume it'll be better at night. I went for early dinner so it was still bright inside.
Good food! It hit the spot! Pizza was amazing and Caesar salad it was excellent.
The food quality is as good as it gets in LA ,Chicago, NY or wherever I have been.The owners are as gracious, and generous as there are in the restaurant business or in life for that matter...They do not have one cheap or argumentative bone in their bodies.
