UPDATE: There has been literally no improvement despite the community responding to my post. I still have to walk through 3 inches of mud in any direction to get to my apartment. Now they've started sending the whole complex threatening emails that we're breaking the trash valet rules. We are required to pay for a service. That service is very frequently not actually performed. Then we get harassing emails because our trash is outside our apartment at the wrong time of day. Huge mistake! I read a bunch of bad reviews before I moved in, but unfortunately, I decided to give Avana a try because it’s in a great location. Everything changed with the first bill after move in. The total monthly was not as expected. They were charging us $230 extra a month for “Amenities Fee’s”, trash, valet trash, water, and sewer, as well as other fees. It is very sad to mention that from Building 17 onwards, the condition of the common-area flooring and lighting is also poor and appears to have been neglected for a long time. This affects the overall appearance and upkeep of the building. What has been most disappointing is the lack of consideration shown toward neighboring residents and the apparent lack of consistent follow-through when concerns are reported.
