Trying to find skilled nursing for yourself or loved one is a very difficult thing to do. I was very hesitant to send my mother somewhere but after a fractured hip and surgery, I felt I was not immediately able to care for her at home. I was told Avamere is a decent facility which I why I agreed to send her there. Well in less than 5 days she had fallen again and broke her wrist in two places. The care here is amazing! I was admitted to Avamere Crestview for about two weeks. The entire time I was cared for by a team of amazingly caring and compassionate nurses, CNAs and Med Aids. Their physical therapy team was amazing in helping me get to a level of physical health to go home safely, and made sure I was set up for home healthcare to continue my progress when I left.
