Do not live here. This building is old, poorly maintained, and management clearly does not care about the residents’ experience. The elevator can be broken for days with little to no communication, there is practically no insulation, and you can hear your neighbors walking around like they are in your apartment. My car was broken into, homeless people regularly wander into the building, and management is nowhere to be found when security issues happen. I recently stayed at Avana Sunset Apartments, and my overall experience was quite mixed, with a few positives but also several noticeable drawbacks. From the beginning, the booking and check-in process was fairly standard, but not particularly smooth. Building not new and have a problems, but they always go out of their way to help residents; if something breaks, you don't have to wait long for it to be fixed. You can tell they care about the residents. That's my experience living here.

Please do not make the same mistake I did by moving into this place. We’ve had 3 different property managers within the last year. My lease will be up in a month and In the WHOLE YEAR they did not fix plumbing issues in my bathroom even though I had sent multiple requests in and spoke with them directly in person about it. I cannot use my shower because whenever our neighbors flush their toilets disgusting brown chunky water comes up my shower drain and fills my bathtub.
