Editorial Review – Romantic and whimsical indoor and outdoor dining with a European flair.
Poor service, boring food – When we arrived, no hostess was at the desk. The line was out of the door. As a harried waitress came over to seat us, the hostess finally arrived. We were seated told our waiter would be over soon. The waitress who seated us got us water. Another person gave us bread and a third person opened our wine. Each told us our waiter would be over soon. He showed up after the meal was finished to try to sell us on dessert. No one came over to us during dinner to ask if the meal was okay. This Place Is Just Plain Bad – Save your $$$$... The restaurant can only be as good as the owners and they are bad. The general attitude from the "rude wife" host to the husband who kept shouting "I am the Owner" was.. "I don't need your business "get out of my place". I left out the four letter words he was shouting.The funny thing about it is we never even complained,they overbooked and took it out on their customers. One of West Chester's Best! – Since re-doing their dining-room to make it trendier and bringing in a new chef I think it is one of the best restaurants in the area. It is great to have a restaurant with a Manhattan type of feel to it in West Chester. Aside from great atmosphere and great food, everyone from the staff to the owners go way out of their way for the customers.
Excellent!! – My husband and I have been here twice and we loved it more the second time than the first. The first time we sat in the main room which was nice. The second time we sat out on the back patio which was a great setting. The food was excellent on each occasion and we sat and drank our wine without being rushed. We highly recommended this restaurant to my in-laws who brought a group of friends with them. They also enjoyed their night. It's a bit pricey but well, well worth it.
Should Have Know When We Walked In – Had a 7:30 res on 9/30. Poor service, bad food & $$$$. Place half empty as well. Host was an ass, stuck us in the kithcen w/ a lot of open tables. Skip the cheese & Mouse app. unless you like getting ripped off. Also cork charge ($1.50) & share charge ($10)
