A wonderful dining experience at Avalon in cozy West Chester. – A very nice evening at Avalon, sitting by the fire with a glass of wine that we brought from home. The food was fresh and very good. The service was quick but not rushed.
A Real Neighborhood Gem – Avalon continues to be one of the best restaurants, not only in Chester County but also within the entire Delaware Valley. The food is inventive, delicious and reasonably priced. The space manages to be both warm and inviting AND sleek and modern at the same time. Charming BYOB, Seasonal Menu... – Wonderful suburban BYOB with warm, yet contemporary atmosphere, and a changing seasonal menu. Great cheese board appetizer. Good service. Made for an enjoyable dinner and evening.
Super Intimate BYOB – Avalon has superb ambience - the summer patio is large, yet intimate with umbrellas trees, and shrubs - the fixed price menu has good variety, the portions are beautifully presented, and the service is excellent. Inside the intimacy continues - especially next to the fireplace on the upper level or near the window. We have eaten there several times and the meals have been consistent as has the service. You have to try it - especially the zuccini fries!
Lovely BYOB in West Chester – Excellent food! I love the fact that the mneu is seasonal & that it changes. The starter/appetizer called the Misto selection was a great way to try a bit of everything which was lovely. I went on a Thursday evening and had no problem parking in the lot indicated on the website. NIce atmosphere. I highly recommend this byob in West Chester.
Excellent BYOB in West Chester. – My husband and i were invited to dinner to Avalon by another couple. I loved it! The service was great . The food was excellent and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I cant wait to go again.
Dining comments – Food was Delicious. And our server Justin was great, warm, friendly yet efficient. builds a great fire too!
Creative and Delicious – The food was very creative and delicious. I highly recommend the pumpkin raviolis if they are available. And if you order the mussels as an app, they bring out about 50. Also, the service was terrific. The parking situation, however, was not very good. There was a lot in the back, but it was only for the other businesses according to the signs. We ended up parking two blocks away. The restaurant was worth the walk though. Expect to spend about $20-25 per entree.
