I’ve worked out at a lot of gyms over the years, and Avalon Fitness is one of the best. The facility is exceptionally clean, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is top-notch. They have an outstanding selection of Hammer Strength, Life Fitness, and Rogue equipment, making it a great place whether you’re serious about strength training or just looking for a quality workout. This gym is incredible, I wish it was closer to where I live. Yes the inside is small and tight and at times, especially when a lot of people are there. But what it lacks in inside space it makes up for in outdoor space and equipment. I worked out here for two weeks both inside and out and cannot think more highly of the gym. 10/10 - Will be back next year!
I’m leaving this review to warn others: Avalon Fitness’s website is misleading, their customer service is unresponsive, and the gym is cramped. I bought a $60 weekly pass because the website’s info icon clearly stated “7 classes.” Naturally, I assumed classes were included. They are not. When I tried to book a class, I was asked to pay an additional $25. The front desk associate confirmed that the weekly pass does not include classes, despite what the website suggests. I can't say enough good things about Avalon Fitness. The positive culture they've built here is amazing, which starts right with the supportive owners. The facility is impeccably clean, and I appreciate that they focus on having the right, high-quality equipment for serious training. The 24/7 access is essential, and the outdoor weight training area is a great feature.
