Great care, Wonderful Staff I have been taking my dog, Shaggy to Avalon for about 14 years and now my new kittie, Lolly Pop! The doctor and his staff are excellent with both of my sweet pets! They are very nice to every pet that enters their doors and the owners seem very pleased too. A wonderful local vet We have been coming to Avalon for our two dogs for six years and trust the Dr's very much, and have had only the best of care. I feel bad for those who have had a negative experience, as having a very sick pet can be heartbreaking - but I can only guess that no vet can be 100% all the time. Outstanding care I have used Avalon for decades and have always recieved outstanding care for my pets. Recently I had to let my 14 year old Chow mix go. The staff of Avalon could not have been more sympathedic and compassionate. They had cared for my buddy since he was a pup and gave him a long and healthy life. Thank you.
I could not ask for a better vet!!! I have been taking my animals to Dr G for many years and love the prices and their friendly personalities, now I am taking my puppy to Dr. ROY HE IS AWESOME WITH MY BABY AND AJ LOVES HIM :0 KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! Leenie

One dog misdiagnosed & one dog dead. I will warn all unsuspecting patients of this clinic. DO NOT under ANY circumstances go to this vet practice. I took both my dogs there. The puppy I took there had parvo, which Avalon Animal Hospital never even ran a test for!!! They gave him some subQ fluids and sent him home. that same day he had vomitting and diarrhea so I rushed him to to the ER where they told me the truth. Avalon Animal Hospital is the best Dr Gabor is an excellent vet. Very knowledgeable. Hours are very convenient. Reasonable rates. I moved away from Tampa but still come back to this vet.
Avalon Animal Hospital is Great! This is a small office, with just a few staff and they are wonderful. In my experience they can get you in to see to doc pretty quickly, usually within a few hours and their prices compared to other places I have been are great. It is very obvious that they do love animals. They are very practical and nice. They even provided me info on a less expensive place to have my dog spayed! Do NOT let Dr. Roy look after your pet�?? Dr. G and the staff are wonderful, but Dr. Roy is deadly. I lost my dog due to his incompetence. My biggest regret is that I ever let Dr. Roy touch my dog.
