I opened an account with Avadian Credit Union maybe about 2 months ago. It’s been hell since I’ve opened the account. I am well aware of all fees associated with my account including but not limited too, overdraft fees. I initially called in to report that the credit union incorrectly charged me for an NSF fee. I was told it was “nothing they could do because they don’t refund NSF fees”. I bit the bullet and just paid the fee. Tried to open a joint CD with my husband. Just wanted to deposit money in a CD for 35 months and let it sit there (with no checking account and no credit or debit card). Recently retired here from out of state and wanted to establish a relationship with a local credit union. Had to answer 3 random questions to prove who we were.
