I usually do business at the midtown location of Avadian. But recently I stopped at the Colonnade location because it was more convenient for me that particular day. The branch has recently moved from their spot next to the old Johnny Ray’s BBQ to a freestanding building that fronts on Colonnade Parkway. I have always been pleased at every Avadian location I have used. But two of the employees I dealt with at the Colonnade that day took customer service to “the next level”. I visited the Colonnade branch to close my accounts. The teller would not process the request even though I am the PRIMARY account holder. He had no clue what he was doing. He made a copy of my ID and had me write on a piece of printer paper that I wanted to close my overdraft loan. After all of that, he informs me that the other people listed on the account would have to be present and sign documents as well, even though they were not joint owners. Abhi at the Colonnade branch is the greatest! I went in today around 4 and after I waited several minutes in the teller line, he called me to his desk. The only other customer inside was with the only teller and their transaction was taking a while. That was his first helpfulness. I had a money question, and he was patient and kind and engaging and helpful when I wasn't even depositing or withdrawing a dime! Now I'm thinking about closing that out of state account and moving back... Thank you Abhi.
