We lived here for two years, under the AVA Ballard name. Loved our little unit. The "one bedroom" with the sliding glass doors is more of a large studio. Rey the leasing manager was amazing. The courtyard-facing lower-level units have nice green views in the summer, but are pretty dark most of the year. Maintenance was phenomenal; great team of folks and very responsive.
The staff was super nice and professional during our encounter together and Darius was incredibly patient answering every question that I had about the property.
WARNING FOR FUTURE RESIDENTS: don’t be fooled by the high ratings like I was. I applied, paid $420, and decided not to sign the lease due to several provisions that don't comply with Seattle law—including utility billing practices that lack the disclosures required under the Seattle Municipal Code, and an addendum that asks you to waive your right to quiet enjoyment and never complain about noise from neighboring businesses. My move-in experience was amazing! Natalie and Rey are amazing and they showed me around the property with patience and went above and beyond to help me move-in. The property is great, many units being newly renovated and the gym is great.
Nothing but good things to say about this location after living here for almost a year. Location is convenient and staff, including management and the maintenance team, are fantastic.
