The Heights is a wonderful place for people in need of medical assistance and comfort. My dear friend Robert Theroux has been taken care of by the outstanding and caring staff for the past 2 years. Robert and I am very pleased with the services provided by the Heights. The Social Services Department has fulfilled any and all of Roberts requests. I would highly recommend The Heights.
I am currently a patient here. I would not recommend this place to anyone it sucks here. You have to beg to get things done. Some staff care but others look the other way. You report things nothing gets done. DO NOT COME HERE!
As a contractor in this facility, I get to work with the residents pretty often. I am blown away by how amazing the Therapy team is at this facility. Chuck, the Therapy Director, connects with each of the residents on an individual level. He sets a wonderful example for the rest of his therapy team to follow. Every member of the therapy team is encouraging, and they strive to meet their residents where they are at physically, emotionally, and mentally. This place uses agency and I see why. DON tried to pull a fast one on my sister yesterday micromanaging a grown 40 year old & she kindly walked out. If they stayed in their lanes this wouldn’t be a bad place but she DNR herself when she called her agency for approval of leaving. Too many places to work out here nobody dealing with this crap it affects the care of the patients, if you wanna micromanage indirectly then DO IT YOURSELF.
