I was looking recently for a senior care home for in San Francisco for my mom who is in her early 90s. I called a number of senior homes that were recommended by several of my friends. I visited a number of homes and found one call Autumn Glow Alzheimers Care Home located on Grove Street in the Hayes Valley, to be very welcoming. I really like the service from this place and they take good care of the elderly. My Grandpa really likes this place. Especially Emmy is super helpful, explained everything clearly!
As a medical courier , I bring prescribed medication to people on hospice all around the city visiting all kinds of facilities. Visiting this facility had to be one of the most negative experiences I’ve ever had, and trust me I’ve been to some pretty questionable areas. The woman who greeted me at the door was incredibly rude, shooing me away, and even put her hands on me pushing me back and putting her hands in my face. My mom that has dementia currently lives here. The staffers are wonderful and the place is very very nice and clean. This place is a godsend for her
Finding a good memory care assisted living home is so difficult, especially when we needed a Cantonese specific one. Autumn Glow is an amazing facility. The staff is wonderful and caring. My Dad's needs are being well cared for, and he is enjoying his days playing Mah Jong and interacting with the other residents and staff. They serve Chinese food at every meal, which really suits my Dad's tastes. They even make Chinese soups!
