I have been using autopilot for over a year now. There are some very useful features, and for a startup, it is a multi-faced tool that can get you started on marketing and tracking. But, it is expensive. Not only it is expensive, but they have TERRIBLE customer care. They sell support as an addon, and it isn't cheap. It is $200 per month. On top of whatever else you are already paying. There are some pretty annoying usability flaws too, and the email templates, managing users and journey publishing can be painful to use. I signed up, migrated my list, did the onboarding. I really liked it and had big plans! Then autopilot changed the pricing (1 week notice) eliminating the "pay for what you use model" which doubled my monthly bill, effectively charging for capacity I wasn't using. Worst of all they told me this was "to improve their billing functionality". Good software, bad management.

It can take some time and effort to understand their workflow, but when you do, it is by far the most flexible and powerful. Of course, it is not a perfect system and can do with a few more tweaks. I am new to this but like whatever I have used so far. There is a 30 day trial period, and you don't really have to bring over your entire client base during your trial, just bring a small section or a list if you want and see for yourself. Overall, I would give it at least 7 out of 10
