Established in 1996. AutoNation's roots trace back to 1996, when current Chairman H. Wayne Huizenga invested in an Atlanta-based waste management company that later became Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Republic Industries, Inc. Republic Industries would go on to acquire most of the more than 321 new vehicle franchises the Company operates today, as well as several waste management and vehicle rental companies, before changing its name on April 6, 1999 to AutoNation, Inc.

Yes I do recommend Autonation! My Wife’s car had damage to the right passengers side door from a Home Depot cart. I talked to Rich and he said not to paint the door. He suggested a paint less dent removal. I asked him about the scratch he assured me that it can be buffed out. We took he car in at 9:30 am I got a call the same day at 2:30 it was done. They have done 2 separate repairs on my car in the last year and both times very pleased. The first time Eric assisted me (he doesn’t work there anymore). The most recent time Andre assisted me. Both times I was very pleased with the service, work and turn around time. My car looks like new.

True professionals! Totally turned a bad situation into a pleasant experience. The Body Shop staff handled everything with my insurance company and made it super easy. The repair work came out perfect and was done in a timely manor. Can’t ever tell it was in a accident. Super thankful to the whole Autonation Collision Center Greenacres Team.
