Wayne Huizenga invested in an Atlanta-based waste management company that later became Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Republic Industries, Inc. Republic Industries would go on to acquire most of the more than 321 new vehicle franchises the Company operates today, as well as several waste management and vehicle rental companies, before changing its name on April 6, 1999 to AutoNation, Inc.

I met John at Auto Nation collision center Greenacres, and he did an excellent job fixing my car. He kept me updated throughout the process and completed the work promptly.
Dropped off my sons Ford F150 after being rear ended. They were quick about getting the parts after evaluating the damage to the tailgate and when they got the parts they called us to bring back the truck. They only had the vehicle for a week and did a great job and Pam was super friendly.
Auto nation did a great job fixing my car that was hit by another driver. The claims rep was great and got my car in right away. The job was finished on time and the car looked brand new. Thank you Auto Nation. I would not hesitate to recommend you!
