I called Automotive Sound and Protection in Norristown PA to inquire about installation dates before I purchased my Groupon. They informed me of install availability and told me to purchase through them instead of the Groupon site and took a $50 deposit from me. They then informed me the price for my vehicle would be much higher due to the vehicle type. I told them to cancel and refund my $50, Heather who is "one of the owners" then told me to go F*** myself. I wish I would have checked reviews first.

I loved it here. My hummer H3 is the one on their photo gallery on their website. I got navigation, a full focal system, custom sub woofer, over head dvd player, back up camera, remote starter, you name it I got it and I could not be any happier with the final product. If you have any audio needs THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!

As the others have stated these folks are committed to robbing you. Before I purchased my Groupon I called and talked to Heather about the additional charges, because I also have a remote control start and when I called I was told directly by Heather that total cost would $120 for the Groupon and another $180 for the work around and the "taxes". Absolutely the shadest place in town. Called to ask about the $119.00 Groupon deal and to inquire if my key would have an up charge, was assured that it didn't. Told Heather I would go purchase the coupon and was told it wasn't needed, they would honor the price. Long story short, go to pay and I'm told $249.00. When I dispute that, Heather agrees to "Work with me" and charges me $185.00. I needed to leave by 2 and told them so before even starting the work. I purchased for my sister a remote starter from Automotive Sound And Protection in Norristown for Christmas. I scheduled an install appointment for Saturday February 7th and my sister had the car there when they opened at 9am. I had stopped by during the previous week to verify everything and I then paid $ 250.94 extra in cash to also have a key-less entry installed. I found these guys last year on Groupon. We just had a remote start installed in our new Land Rover. Pretty expensive job compared to our last car that was an Acura. We were fine with it since no other shops would even attempt it. A great thanks again to everyone at ASAP and especially Heather who was able to answer every question I threw at her. After having audio equipment installed in another Porsche at other car audit establishments, and not being fully satisfied, I found ASAP. I have had nothing but great experiences with ASAP. They are a high end shop with high end products and some people may not be used to that. If you dont care or know the difference between sound systems, go to pep boys, buy a $5 radio, throw it in and have fun. If, on the other handm you wants quality products by people who know their profession and care about their customers then don't hesitate and go to ASAP.
