Not pushy truthful
Dealer Dale was very nice! He answered my email within 24 hours which is totally reasonable and when I asked to come see the car he had it ready and warm in the lot for me. After examining and driving the car I found that it wasn't the one for me. But I would go back to auto source in the future.
I am happy
I had spoken with dale at autosource right before closing Friday letting him know I would be there early in the morning to buy a specific vehicle. I’m 70+miles away. I arrived early that following morning and he tells me that he had just sold the truck. Beyond irritated that he knew I was on my way from a distance and did not have the common courtesy to let me know that it was going to be a wasted trip. Absolutely disgusted with how he handled this. I am sorry Chris had this experience. It was out of my control. I would never intentionally waste someones time or allow them to travel such a distance in vain.This was an unfortunate situation that could not be avoided. The folks that bought the truck arrived a short time before Chris. They drove the vehicle and made an offer. They too had driven almost 2 hours to see this truck. I contacted the dealership and he eventually responded to me saying something like he was NOT allowed to put his # or location in his ads so that is why it took him so long to get back to me. (I had contacted CarGurus about him about 3 or 4 times before he responded). He seemed ok to deal with, we just decided to go with someone else.
